Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Alex about the fear of taking a leap of faith and quitting a job to start something new. Alex grew up in low income area of Chicago and it is because of his surroundings that he decided early on to move up and out of the neighborhood through educating himself and working super hard. Alex has been working two jobs to make the income he needed to move to a nicer neighborhood but one of the jobs began to change and wasn’t in alignment with his values and aspirations. So he began doing some soul searching and quit job figured out quit his job and put in some extra effort to make up for the loss in income.
