LeRoy was going to college when his hero the person who he looked up to, his brother-in-law, was shot and killed. This traumatic event throw him for a loop and caused him to start drinking and turn inward. It wasn’t until he began speaking to his mother about how this tragedy impacted his life that he began to be able to regain control of his life and honor his brother-in-law.
